Bookmark and organize your discoveries

Saved & Bookmarks

The Saved feature lets you bookmark repositories, packages, analyses, and searches for quick access later. Build a personal library of your favorite and most-used resources.

Overview

Access Saved items at Saved in the sidebar. Features include:

  • Bookmark anything: Repos, packages, Docker images, analyses
  • Organize: Filter by type and search
  • Quick access: One-click navigation
  • Sync: Available across devices
  • Export: Download your saved collection

Saving Items

From Search Results

  1. Find an item in Universal Search
  2. Click the bookmark icon (right side)
  3. Item is instantly saved
  4. Icon changes to filled to indicate saved

From Analysis Pages

  1. Open any repository, package, or Docker image page
  2. Click Save or the bookmark icon in the header
  3. Confirmation appears briefly

From History

  1. Go to History
  2. Find a past analysis
  3. Click the bookmark icon
  4. Item moves to Saved

From the Dashboard

  1. See a trending repo or quick action
  2. Click the save icon
  3. Added to your Saved collection

Managing Saved Items

Viewing Saved Items

Navigate to Saved to see all bookmarked items:

  • All: Everything saved
  • Repositories: GitHub repos only
  • Packages: NPM packages only
  • Docker: Container images only
  • Analyses: Saved code analyses

Searching Saved Items

Use the search bar to find:

  • Item names
  • Descriptions
  • Keywords/topics
  • Author names

Sorting Options

Sort your saved items by:

  • Date Saved: Most recent first
  • Name: Alphabetical
  • Score: ReformCode Score
  • Popularity: Stars/downloads

Removing Items

To unsave an item:

  1. Click the filled bookmark icon
  2. Or hover and click Remove
  3. Item is removed from Saved

Saved Item Details

Repository Details

Each saved repo shows:

  • Repository name (owner/repo)
  • Description
  • Stars and forks
  • Primary language
  • ReformCode Score
  • Last updated

Package Details

Each saved package shows:

  • Package name
  • Description
  • Weekly downloads
  • Latest version
  • ReformCode Score

Docker Details

Each saved image shows:

  • Image name
  • Description
  • Pull count
  • Official badge
  • ReformCode Score

Quick Actions

From Saved List

Click an item for quick actions:

  • Open: Go to details page
  • Analyze: Run AI analysis
  • View External: Open on GitHub/NPM/Docker
  • Remove: Unsave the item

Bulk Actions

Select multiple items for bulk operations:

  1. Click checkboxes on items
  2. Use action bar for:
    • Export selected
    • Remove selected

Organization Tips

Use Effectively

  1. Save actively: Bookmark during research
  2. Review regularly: Remove outdated items
  3. Search first: Check if you've saved it before
  4. Categorize mentally: Know what you've saved by type

Best Practices

  • Save repos you reference frequently
  • Bookmark packages you're evaluating
  • Save analyses you want to revisit
  • Keep the list manageable (quality over quantity)

Export & Backup

Exporting Saved Items

Export your saved collection:

  1. Go to Saved
  2. Click Export button
  3. Choose format:
    • JSON: Full data with metadata
    • CSV: Spreadsheet compatible
    • Markdown: Documentation format

What's Exported

  • Item identifiers
  • Names and descriptions
  • Scores and metrics
  • Date saved
  • Type classification

Sync Across Devices

Your saved items are:

  • Tied to your account
  • Available on any device
  • Synced automatically
  • Preserved after logout

Privacy

What's Stored

  • Item identifiers (URLs, names)
  • When you saved it
  • Item metadata at save time

What's Not Stored

  • Private repository access
  • Your search history (separate feature)
  • Analysis content (separate feature)

Integration with Other Features

Dashboard

Saved items appear in:

  • Quick access section
  • Recent saves widget

When searching:

  • Saved items show filled bookmark icon
  • Quickly identify what you've saved
  • Easy toggle save/unsave

History

  • Save analyses from history
  • History shows if item is saved
  • Saved items link to history entries

Troubleshooting

Item not saving

  • Check you're logged in
  • Verify internet connection
  • Try refreshing the page

Can't find saved item

  • Check all filters are cleared
  • Use search function
  • Verify it wasn't removed

Saved count seems wrong

  • Filters may be active
  • Item may have been removed
  • Refresh the page
